Ryan had his port put in this afternoon and is home resting now. He did very well- Dr said his skin was very thick- I wanted to be smart and tell him that it has to be to handle all of this, but instead I smiled pleasantly and nodded. :) I'll update after Tuesday when he starts his first dose of chemo.
We want to again thank all of you who have been so concerned, and so helpful to our family. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hello to you all!
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see your postings again. I hate to call because I know you are busy and need your peace and quiet. I want to offer my juicer if you feel you would like to use it. I had a friend in Eugene who found that a carrot/apple juice with a little ginger root in it helped the nausea from time to time. Juicing is a good way to get some potent nutrition without a lot of bulk and you are welcome to it if you ever want to try.
How was the soup?? Hope the boys are enjoying the spring weather. My spinach is coming up in the garden so I know it is truly going to be spring one of these days. Prayers and positive thoughts to you all!

I had no idea what has been going on. Please tell Ryan that his cousin James says hi. It has been so long since we have seen each other, and neither mom nor dad has said anything to me about this. You guys are in our thoughts.
